> Estevano, Canary, Duve and HiJiffy publish an OPERA Cloud connection via OHIP, and they do not all do the same with your data.

Estevano connects through OHIP with read-only access, and three other platforms publish a connection of their own.

Estevano connects to Oracle OPERA Cloud through OHIP, Oracle's integration platform, and reads in-house reservations and guest profiles from your PMS. The connection is read-only and you can revoke it at any time. Canary Technologies, Duve and HiJiffy also publish an OPERA Cloud integration through OHIP on their websites. Estevano is our product; everything about the other three comes from their own website, checked on 23-oct-2026, linked next to each one.

## How Estevano connects

Through OHIP, Estevano asks OPERA Cloud for the reservations of in-house guests and their profiles, and refreshes them every few minutes. That way every request that comes in by chat or by phone is tied to a real room and a real booking.

- Read-only. Estevano writes nothing to OPERA Cloud.
- Revocable. You can cut the connection whenever you like.
- No PMS change. OPERA stays your system for reservations and billing.

## What it does not do

- It does not write to OPERA Cloud: no changes to reservations, charges or profiles.
- It does not pull future reservations, so it sends nothing before the guest arrives.
- It does not look up room availability or rates. What guests book in Estevano (restaurant, spa and experiences) is managed by the hotel in Estevano.
- OPERA Cloud is the only PMS it connects to.

## Who else publishes an OPERA Cloud connection

Canary Technologies. Its website says it integrates with OPERA Cloud through OHIP with two-way data exchange, and that it also has an integration with on-premises OPERA. It mentions arrival status, loyalty tier and rate code for guest segmentation, and the e-folio at checkout.

Duve. It publishes a two-way integration with OPERA Cloud through OHIP that sends and receives reservation and payment data, among others.

HiJiffy. It says it integrates with OPERA Cloud through OHIP and uses reservation data, such as a confirmed booking or a completed check-in, to message guests. It does not say whether it writes to OPERA.

The table below sums it up. "Not published" means the vendor's website did not say so on the day we checked, not that the feature is missing.

## If you are not on OPERA

You can start Estevano without integration and check guests in from the console. For other PMSs, ask us. If you are comparing more tools, see the best digital concierge software for hotels in 2026.

## Questions to ask before you sign

Ask any vendor that wants to connect to your OPERA Cloud:

- Does it read from OPERA or write to it? If it writes, which fields does it change?
- Which data does it read, and how often does it refresh it?
- Does it pull only in-house guests, or future reservations too?
- How do you revoke its access, and what happens to the data it already holds?
- Where is your guests' data stored? Estevano keeps it in the EU.
